・Biography

Kento Takabayashi (高林 健人) received a B.S. (Eng.) in electrical and computer engineering from Yokohama National University, Yokohama, Japan in 2012. In 2014 and 2017, he received a M.S. (Eng.) in physics, electrical and computer engineering and a Ph.D. in physics, electrical and computer engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, Yokohama National University, Yokohama, Japan. He was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Okayama Prefectural University. He is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Toyo University. He won the Academic Encouragement Award from Sanyo Broadcasting Foundation, and the Science and Technology Award from Okayama Foundation for Science and Technology in 2019. He also won the URSI GASS 2020 Young Scientist Award in 2020. His research interests include Medical Information and Communication Technology, e.g., Wireless Body Area Networks. He is also interested in coding theory and cross-layer optimization in wireless communications. He is a member of the IEICE and the IEEE.
